Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of project implementation to ensure objectives are met within the approved timeline and budget.
- Monitor project activities and ensure compliance with quality standards and operational requirements.
- Work closely with field teams and partners to facilitate smooth operations.
- Develop detailed work plans and schedules to ensure timely execution of activities.
- Prepare periodic progress reports, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
- Assess overall project performance and suggest improvements as needed.
- Participate in the development of new project proposals, including setting objectives, expected outcomes, and budgets.
- Maintain strong relationships with donors, local partners, and stakeholders.
- Oversee the implementation of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities to ensure accurate data collection and analysis.
- Ensure adherence to accountability requirements and conduct regular assessments to align activities with humanitarian standards.
- Identify potential project risks and propose proactive solutions.
- Organize regular meetings with field teams to review progress and address challenges.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and good governance practices.
- Develop and implement capacity-building plans for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in project management best practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Relations, Development Studies, or a related field.
- At least two years of experience in NGOs, INGOs, or UN organizations in project management.
- Strong knowledge of project monitoring and evaluation methodologies and tools.
- Experience in developing technical tools and guidelines for M&E.
- Strong analytical, evaluation, and strategic planning skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database management.
- Ability to work under pressure and in challenging environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including reporting and presentations.
- Experience in strategic planning and performance management, including indicator selection and reporting.
