Project Name: Technical Assistance and Supervision for Gaziantep, Adıyaman and Kilis Water and Wastewater Projects

About the Position: 

The Team Leader (TL)/Project Manager (PM) shall be in charge of the total management of the Project, including, but not limited to, coordination of experts so as to ensure that the input of experts is available at the time when they are required, allocation of tasks within the team, liaison with the counterparts, financial management and reporting, and other tasks as required.

The TL/PM will be primarily responsible for all supervision activities in relation to the Works Contract. The expert is expected to work full time and during the whole life span of the construction; with an estimated imput of a mínimum 576 working days.

The expert must have the below qualification:

Qualifications and skills

• University degree (either BSc./MSc./PhD) in civil, environmental, chemical or mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Good command of both written and spoken English
• Good computer skills in MS Office Applications,

General professional experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in water/wastewater sector is required.

Specific professional experience

• Experience in at least 3 projects of construction and/or construction supervision of infrastructure projects in the field of water network and/or wastewater network and/or drinking water and/or wastewater treatment plants,
• Experience in at least 2 projects’ Supervision Team (supervision of construction works on behalf of Employer which are implemented under FIDIC Contract) as Team Leader /Project Manager / Deputy Team Leader/Resident Engineer / Engineer / Engineer’s Representative
• Experience in operation of water and/or wastewater networks will be asset.
• Experience in operation of water and/or wastewater treatment plants will be asset
• Experience in implementation of PRAG Procedures will be asset,
• Local experience in Türkiye will be asset
