Below, you will find the job details and the qualifications we are looking for.
Do your qualifications and experience not exactly match all requirements of the job?
At MSF OCG, we are committed to an inclusive culture that supports and amplifies the diverse voices of our staff members. We strive to create workplaces where teams of people with diverse backgrounds, characteristics, perspectives, ideas and experiences work together to advance MSF's social mission and create better outcomes for our patients and the communities we work with.
We understand that some people may hesitate to apply for employment if they don't meet all listed job requirements. Research shows that this is especially true for women. If you believe your profile is a good match for this position, we invite you to apply even if you don’t fulfil every listed qualification.
We encourage applications from individuals of all genders, ages, sexual orientations, ethnicities, background, religions, beliefs, ability status, and all other diversity characteristics.
MSF does not tolerate sexual exploitation and abuse, any kind of discrimination or harassment, including sexual harassment. All selected candidates will undergo reference checks.
Médecins Sans Frontières is an independent, international medical and humanitarian organization that provides care to people in need, people affected by natural or man-made disasters, and victims of armed conflict, without discrimination and without regard to race, religion, creed or political affiliation (MSF Charter).
The MSF movement is built around 5 operational centers supported by 24 sections and offices worldwide. MSF Operational Center Geneva (MSF OCG) is one of these centers.
MSF has grown significantly in the last decade, but the HR department has managed this expansion with ad-hoc tools. To better support ongoing demands and the global workforce, OCG has launched an HR transformation initiative which includes the implementation of an HR Information System (HRIS).
Given the increased operational demand and complexity, MSF OCG needs improved systems to better manage people and data. The program will span several years, with incremental rollouts to different populations within the field and the HQ, covering various modules across the employee lifecycle.
To ensure the successful adoption of the new HR Information System (HRIS) and minimize disruption, MSF OCG has established a dedicated Change Management team for this transformation initiative. Change management focuses on preparing, equipping, and supporting employees through the transition, ensuring they understand and adopt new systems, processes, and ways of working. Effective change management is critical to maximizing the benefits of the HRIS, reducing resistance, and fostering engagement across the organization.
We are seeking a Change Management Officer who will support the Change Manager in the successful implementation of the project change strategy.
This entry-level role is ideal for candidates who have already had some exposure to project management and ideally change management and who look to gain experience in change management, stakeholder engagement, communication and training design. The incumbent will help coordinate the change ambassadors network, contribute to communication efforts, and support employees in adapting to new tools and processes. The Change Management officer will collaborate with the HRIS project team, HR, managers, and employees to drive engagement and minimize resistance to change.
As the project is already underway and approaching a peak period for change management activities, the person in this role will need to quickly grasp the context, priorities, and ways of working. Success in this position requires strong organizational skills, proactiveness, and the ability to adapt quickly—taking initiative and delivering results in a fast-paced environment with minimal onboarding time.
