Objective of the Consultancy
The objectives of the consultancy are to:
1) Craft a Distinctive and Authentic National Brand for Suriname, that:
It is important that consultants deliver a hard-nosed and pragmatic brand for Suriname and SITA that, while acknowledging Suriname’s many impressive natural attributes, also supports the country to diversify economy away from a focus on extractives towards sectors that will lead to economic growth and prosperity across the nation.
2) Develop a dynamic and recognizable brand identity for the Suriname Investment and Trade Agency (SITA), which:
EXPECTED PROFILE
Education: At least a Bachelor’s degree in Market Research, Economics, Business, Communications, Psychology, or a related field.
Years of Experience: At least 8 years of experience in market research and analysis.
Type of Experience:
• Proven experience in conducting qualitative and quantitative research, stakeholder interviews, and market diagnostics.
• Experience in analyzing national/location perceptions and international market trends.
• Ability to extract meaningful insights and actionable recommendations to inform brand strategy.
Additional Requirements: Experience with branding projects and experience working in Suriname or the Caribbean region would be a plus.
