Applus is currently seeking two highly qualified experts to support the implementation of a new EU-funded initiative aimed at improving the protection of natural resources and the health of Georgian citizens.
Overall Objective:
To improve the protection of natural resources and the health of Georgian citizens.
Specific Objectives:
Raise awareness and promote active involvement of the population and private sector in environmental protection, the fight against climate change, and the green transition.
Enhance visibility and awareness of EU support to environmental and climate actions in Georgia.
Increase participation of civil society and the private sector—especially youth, women, urban populations in Georgian regions, and vulnerable communities including minorities—in national and international dialogues on environmental and climate policies.
Qualifications:
University degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Advertising or a related field.
Experience:
Preferably with experience in EU-funded or donor-funded projects in Georgia.
Language Requirements:
English – C1
Georgian – C1
Qualifications:
University degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Environmental Engineering, Geography, or a related field.
Experience:
At least 5 years of proven knowledge (through professional experience or publications) in environmental protection, climate change mitigation, and green transition.
Experience in developing or contributing to environmental awareness materials or campaigns is an asset.
