Project: Technical, Environmental and Social Audits for the Malawi M1 Road Rehabilitation Project
Framework: Lot 3 – Mobility of the Framework Agreement to Support EIB Advisory Services (EIBAS) Activities Inside and Outside EU-27 (TA20210614 R0 FWA)

We are currently identifying experts for an upcoming assignment under the European Investment Bank (EIB) Framework Agreement. The project involves the technical, environmental, and social audits of the Malawi M1 Road Rehabilitation Project, which covers approximately 347 km of single carriageway road.

Location: Malawi
Languages: Excellent English is required
Start date: June 2025
Duration: 24 months from start date

We are looking for the following expert:

Key expert 2: Environmental Expert (Category II)

Qualifications and skills:

• University degree in environmental sciences/engineering, or a relevant field for the assignment.

• Fluency in spoken and written English is required.

General professional experience:

• 10 years of professional experience in environmental activities related to infrastructure projects.

Specific professional experience:

• 5 years of experience with environmental safeguards of IFI-funded infrastructure projects.

• Experience in environmental monitoring and/or audits of road projects is an advantage.
