''Project of promoting climate resilient irrigation for Boualapha, Laos''

Overall objective: Improving the resilience of rural populations to climate change, reduce poverty and improve food security

Requirements:

-A minimum of ten years of relevant work experience in project management and at least five projects as team leader

-Demonstrated strong background in team coordination, policy dialogue and contract management;

-Extensive experience in planning, preparation, implementation, follow-up, monitoring and evaluation of projects;

-Familiar with elaborating Project documents, the logical framework and project cycle management;

-Country Experience in Laos is an advantage;

-Regional experience in South East Asia is mandatory;

-Experience on water and natural resources management in relation to climate change, land use, change, land use planning and agricultural practices;

-Experience in groundwater use for irrigation purposes;

-Familiarity with climate-resilient agricultural practices and agroecological transition

-Experience in providing technical guidance and support to project teams.

-Proficiency/fluency in written and spoken English;

-Knowledge of Lao language is an advantage
