Senior Highway Engineer cum Team Leader (12 Man-Months)
Education: Bachelor’s Degree holder in Civil Engineering with no less than 15 years relevant professional experience. Masters in Civil Engineering (Highways Engineering/Transportation Engineering/Infrastructure Engineering) will be an added advantage.
Note : Project experience pertaining to the projects on item rate & EPC will be preferred over other types of project experience (like BOT, PPP etc.)
Experience:
· Min. 10 years in planning, project preparation, and design of highways projects including hill roads with a focus on international best practices in tunnels, long-span bridges, and viaducts.
· At least two DPR projects for highways involving tunnels, long-span bridges, or viaducts.
· Experience in handling multidisciplinary teams across multiple countries and working with global infrastructure firms on hill road projects.
· Planning, Project Preparation and Design of 50 km of hill road (intermediate/ two/four lane) as Highway Engineer or Team Leader.
· 5 years as ‘Highway Engineer’ in major DPR/Construction Supervision projects.
· Experience in projects funded by World Bank/ADB/AIIB/NDB or any other external aid agency in DPR preparation for upgradation on NHs/SHs/MDRs.
· Proven track record as Team Leader or similar leadership role in feasibility studies of two / Four/ Six Laning works, DPR preparation of two / Four/ Six Laning works of major highway projects (NHs/ SHs/ MDRs/ Expressways) for minimum aggregate length of 100 km.
· Must have worked in projects of 2-Lane or larger highway development in hilly terrain, incorporating tunnels and long-span viaducts, preferably in projects where modern tunnelling and bridge engineering solutions were implemented.
