We, K&J Projects Private Limited, INDIA are submitting proposal for “Hiring of Consultancy Firm as Design Consultant with Design Implementation Support for Bridges under U-PREPARE Project”.

Client: Project Implementation Unit (PIU-PWD), Uttarakhand Disaster Preparedness & Resilience Project (U-PREPARE)

Project Location: Uttarakhand, India

Senior Bridge Design Engineer (9 Man-Months)

Education: Post Graduate in Structural Engineering, Extra marks for Professional Certifications along with Master Degree (e.g., Professional Engineer (PE), Chartered Engineer (CE))

Experience:

·       Total Relevant Professional Experience with design/structural engineering experience should be more than 10 years and more than successfully completed 5 bridge design projects

·       Experience in bridge design and engineering : Minimum 8 years of experience in planning, analysis and structural design of bridges of similar types as envisaged in this project (As Bridge Design Engineer)

·       Experience in similar capacity : Independently handled the design work of at least 5 bridges minimum span of 50mtr in similar topographic conditions (Hilly regions)

·       Experience in seismic design and analysis in more than 2 projects

·       Experience in hilly Terrain for more than 3 years will be an added advantage

·       The candidate should be Proficient in 2+ structural analysis software (e.g., MIDAS, STAAD Pro, SAP2000) (Certificates need to be attached along with the CV)
