Pomilio Blumm, a leading European agency in institutional communication, is seeking to recruit a Key Expert 3 – Information and Communication Manager for an upcoming EU-funded regional communication programme targeting the Southern Neighbourhood and Gulf countries, commissioned by the European Commission – DG MENA.
The programme aims to strengthen EU visibility and understanding in the region through human-centred storytelling, impactful media outreach, and strategic coordination with local partners.
The Key Expert 3 (KE3) will lead the development of content and media materials under the strategic direction of the Team Leader (KE1), focusing on both editorial production and media relations. The expert will also contribute to the implementation of thematic campaigns and public diplomacy initiatives.
Lead the production of high-quality editorial and communication content (articles, factsheets, press packs);
Coordinate media outreach and relations across the Southern Neighbourhood and Gulf region;
Manage the storytelling aspects of the project, including real-life success stories and project visibility narratives;
Oversee content planning and collaborate with audiovisual producers, writers, and designers;
Ensure all communications are aligned with EU values, brand identity, and local sensitivities;
Support campaign development and contribute to cross-component outputs (especially Component 1 and 4).
Education: University degree in communication, media, marketing, advertising, or a related field;
Languages:
Excellent command of English and French (oral and written) is mandatory;
Working proficiency in Arabic is considered a strong asset;
General Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in communication, media, or marketing;
Specific Experience:
At least 3 years of experience in managing media relations and editorial content development;
Demonstrated ability to write compelling, newsworthy content for public communication;
Experience developing outreach strategies and media cooperation;
Familiarity with EU-funded programmes or public institutions is an asset;
Experience working in or targeting the Southern Neighbourhood and/or Gulf region is a plus.
Location: Primarily home-based, with short-term missions to Brussels and the MENA region;
Duration: 48 months (expected start: early 2026);
Working language: English;
