General Introduction
The project “Revision of the Curriculum for the Council of Legal Education (CLE)” aims to conduct a comprehensive review, redesign and upgrade of the curriculum used by the three law schools under the CLE framework in the CARICOM region. The objective is to modernise the substantive content, pedagogical methods and underlying philosophies to align with current and emerging needs, including Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), Environmental Law, Commercial and Cross-border issues, Employment and Human Rights.
The contract will have a total duration of six (6) months, covering the Member States of the CLE: Anguilla, Antigua, Barbados, The Bahamas, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, Montserrat, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent, and Trinidad and Tobago. The project is managed by the CARICOM Secretariat in collaboration with the Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ).
