Pool of Experts 1 – Leadership Training for Just Transition and Sustainability

The project "Capacity Development in TVET for the socially just and ecological transformation in Brazil"  supports the Brazilian government's efforts to align its Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) system with the principles of sustainability, social inclusion, and economic transformation. It focuses on three main sectors: renewable energies, bioeconomy, and circular economy. The project seeks to improve access, quality, and employability outcomes of TVET for youth, especially women and vulnerable groups, while fostering public-private cooperation and enhancing the role of TVET institutions in Brazil’s just ecological transition.

Expert Days Total: 70 days each approximately within 36 months.

Location: Mainly remote, with potential field missions in Brazil

Tasks

Work under all three work packages, including:

1. Work Package 1: Training concepts for green/just transition and dual TVET implementation.
2. Work Package 2: Capacity development for TVET teachers/managers on bioeconomy and gender-sensitive access/retention.
3. Work Package 3: Self-instructional soft skills content and advisory for employability-enhancing measures.

Pool 1. Expert 1 – Leadership Training for Just Transition and Sustainability

Tasks:

• Design and implement capacity development for MEC, SENAI, MTE staff.
• Develop leadership formats for socio-ecological transformation and digitalisation.
• Integrate gender equity and vulnerable group inclusion in training strategies.

Profile:

• Master’s degree in education, political science, economics or related fields.
• 10 years in developing/implementing leadership formats in the context of just transitions.
• 5 years in gender-transformative approaches in TVET or public policy.
• Experience with public institutions (ministries, national institutes) in Latin America.
