Pool of Experts 2 – Dual TVET Implementation (Brazilian Apprenticeship Programme)

The project "Capacity Development in TVET for the socially just and ecological transformation in Brazil"  supports the Brazilian government's efforts to align its Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) system with the principles of sustainability, social inclusion, and economic transformation. It focuses on three main sectors: renewable energies, bioeconomy, and circular economy. The project seeks to improve access, quality, and employability outcomes of TVET for youth, especially women and vulnerable groups, while fostering public-private cooperation and enhancing the role of TVET institutions in Brazil’s just ecological transition.

Pool of Experts 2 – Dual TVET Implementation (Brazilian Apprenticeship Programme)

Tasks:

• Develop dualisation models for selected TVET curricula.
• Create training plans for in-company phases and develop KPIs for impact monitoring.
• Train company instructors and TVET school coordinators.

Profile:

• Master’s in TVET, education or labour market policies.
• 10 years working with the Brazilian Apprenticeship Programme (Aprendizagem Profissional).
• 10 years of general professional experience in advisory and capacity development.
• 5 years of experience in development cooperation.
• 5 years of working experience in Brazil and 5 in Latin America (outside Brazil).
• Experience in train-the-trainer, practical training design, and dual certification schemes.
• Understanding of coordination between TVET providers and enterprises.
• Fluency in English (B2) and Portuguese (C2).
