The Opportunity
For a potential, donor-funded healthcare project in Tajikistan, our Dutch partner has invited us to help identify an experienced Team Leader / Project Manager for a long-term assignment. The role will cover the overall project management of design, procurement, supervision, and training for the construction and equipping of a National TB Research and Treatment Centre in Tajikistan. The assignment duration is expected to be up to 4 years (57 months).

Key Criteria / Profile Sought:

• University degree (MSc or equivalent) in a field related to architecture, engineering, or healthcare facilities (Mandatory)

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience after graduation (Mandatory)

• At least 10 years of experience relevant to the field of healthcare/infrastructure project management (Mandatory)

• Minimum 5 years’ proven experience as a project manager or team leader on donor-funded international projects (Mandatory)

• Fluent in English (spoken and written); knowledge of Russian and/or Tajiki is an advantage 

• Willingness to relocate and live in Tajikistan for the duration of the assignment

Main Responsibilities:

• Overall management and coordination of the project and all teams involved

• Oversight of design, procurement, construction supervision, and training activities

• Regular communication and reporting to project stakeholders and donor(s)

• Ensuring compliance with quality, schedule, and budget requirements

• Stakeholder engagement, risk management, and capacity building
