Resource Mobilization Volunteer: 4 positions-Europe & America
Impact for Humanity-Uganda is a community based non-governmental, not for profit-Organization, operating with registration number 5593 as per the Uganda’s NGO registration act of 2006 that was started in 2024 with current humanitarian efforts in refugee emergency in Uganda.
Impact for Humanity (IFH Uganda -) extends humanitarian assistance through mainstreaming Protection, MHPSS, Education, GBV services throughout Uganda in both emergency humanitarian and development context.
Our Core Humanitarian Objectives: To mainstream population rights through Advocacy campaigns, awareness promotion on rights and empowerment programs for Children, Adolescents, Youths, Women and other disadvantaged social groups, promote innovations from community members that will provide solutions to Humanitarian challenges in their communities for socio and economic development, build resilient communities that can respond to local, national, regional, and global humanitarian challenges that meet sustainable development goals, Provide capacity building to community structures and leaders focused on the development areas aimed at enhancing humanitarian response and service provisions, to build on existing body of knowledge through research, to provide positive copying skills to the youths, adolescents and caregivers on Mental health care, wellbeing and economic support interventions while focused on sustainability of donor and Organization support interventions and to Provide gender sensitive group focused support services aimed at addressing all social barriers and challenges faced by different community social groups.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE GRANTS MOBILIZER:
v Take the lead in identifying humanitarian funding opportunities and support in writing proposals.
v Build relationships with prospective donors and act as ambassador of Impact for Humanity-Uganda.
v To assist with funding proposal writing processes. This involves writing project log frames and budget plans.
v To assist in developing a fund generation and resource mobilization Workplan and constantly follow-up the implementation of the plan. This involves designing and writing materials for communications with different prospective donors and agencies.
v To coordinate processing of agreements in connection with funding opportunities and ensure effective and timely follow-up in terms of submission of reports to the donors and grant renewal processes.
v To monitor donor reporting and grant expenditure deadlines.
v Support in preparation of quality financial and narrative reports to donors.
v Provide guidance to the program teams on grants management and reporting.
v Support the organization with identifying prospective donors and foundations.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
v Excellent time Management and computer skills
v Excellent knowledge of English, both spoken and written
v Good analytical skills in developing and implementing resource mobilization strategies.
v Ability to work effectively in teams and support remotely.
v Ability to prioritize workload and demonstrate deliverables/outcomes.
v Initiative taker, self-motivation, and a commitment to continuously work and results oriented.
v Good understanding of financial management and reporting processes.
