Your role as Relationship Manager for Companies & Foundations

As a Relationship Manager for Companies & Foundations, you play a crucial role in realizing the fundraising ambitions of SOS Children's Villages.

You'll be responsible for building, managing, and deepening strategic relationships with Dutch companies and (inter)national funds and foundations. You see opportunities where others see limitations, and with your persuasiveness, expert knowledge, and sense of connection, you'll be able to forge impactful collaborations.
On the one hand, you focus on maintaining existing relationships, and on actively approaching new opportunities on the other.
You know better than anyone how to translate a joint mission into concrete proposals and sustainable partnerships.
You work closely with Program Managers and Project Controllers to develop compelling propositions and reports.
The team

You'll be part of the Programs and Partnerships department, where colleagues work to develop partnerships with companies, major donors, endowment funds, and institutional donors. Together, you'll drive growth in strategic collaborations with a shared goal: a lasting impact for children worldwide. The atmosphere is collaborative, entrepreneurial, and results-oriented, with a strong focus on mutual trust.

You bring along

At least 4 years of experience in relationship management and/or fundraising, preferably with companies, foundations or large endowment funds.
Demonstrably successful in establishing and maintaining strategic partnerships.
Strong communication and persuasive skills, both verbally and in writing.
A proactive, independent working attitude with a good sense of political and administrative relationships.
Experience in an international context is an advantage.
Excellent command of the Dutch and English language.

A gross monthly salary between €4,225 and €4,850 based on 37.5 hours, depending on experience.
A one-year contract with the prospect of extension to a permanent contract.
