Position Required - Senior Resident Engineer - Earthwork

Estimated Salary - 4,000 ~ 6,000 USD

Qualification & Experience

(1)      Civil Engineering Degree or other equivalent degree.

(2)      15 years of experience in large transport infrastructure field.

(3)      Minimum 5 years of experience as Earthwork Engineer.

(4)      Working experience in SARC / ASEAN regions.

Task & Responsibilities

·          Ensure the work is done according to shop drawings, work plan/schedule, quality assurance plan and methodology approved by “The Engineer”.               

·          Manage and superintend the works of the staff working under him, day-to-day field working and utilization of available experts to monitor the construction works. 

·          Assign specific tasks to the national senior, mid-level and junior Earthwork/Embankment Engineer for successful implementation of the work. 

·          Address RFIs submitted by the Contractor for earthworks.           

·          Review the design prepared in Detailed Design phase. If any modification is required, he will do it and prepare Construction Drawings to issue to the Contractor.              

·          Examine the sub-soil investigation reports submitted by the Contractor and if found ok recommend it for approval.        

·          If any technical problem arises during construction, he will find a solution to it.

·          Oversee the successful construction of Earthworks.    

·          Dealing with any other work assigned by “The Engineer” as per provision of TOR.          

·          Other tasks assigned by the Employer.
