Team Leader / Senior Landfill Engineer

National Engineering Corporation invites qualified and experienced Team Leader / Senior Landfill Engineer to join our project team for the following World Bank–funded assignment:
Project: Consulting Services for the Detailed Design and Construction Supervision of the Providence Landfill Upgrade, Capacity Expansion, and Closure
Location: Mahe, Seychelles
Duration: 36 Months (7 months for Detailed Design, 12 months for Construction Supervision, and 12 months for Post-Construction Supervision)
Eligibility: These positions are open to Seychelles Nationals only
Responsibilities:
•    Lead overall project design, planning, and supervision activities.
•    Provide technical direction on landfill expansion, closure, leachate and gas management systems.
•    Coordinate with the client, stakeholders, and project team to ensure compliance with TOR and international best practices.
•    Oversee quality assurance, risk management, and environmental compliance throughout design and supervision phases.
Qualifications & Experience:
•    Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering (Master’s preferred).
•    At least 20 years of relevant experience in landfill design, development, and closure projects.
•    Proven leadership experience on large-scale infrastructure/environmental projects.
•    Strong knowledge of international environmental and health & safety standards.
