Resident Engineer

National Engineering Corporation invites qualified and experienced Resident Engineer to join our project team for the following World Bank–funded assignment:

Project: Consulting Services for the Detailed Design and Construction Supervision of the Providence Landfill Upgrade, Capacity Expansion, and Closure

Location: Mahe, Seychelles

Duration: 36 Months (7 months for Detailed Design, 12 months for Construction Supervision, and 12 months for Post-Construction Supervision)

Eligibility: These positions are open to Seychelles Nationals only

Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day construction works, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and drawings.
• Monitor quality assurance and quality control (CQA) during construction.
• Liaise with contractors, resolve technical issues, and certify progress reports.
• Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety requirements on site.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Construction Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction supervision, with specific CQA experience in landfill or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of World Bank/IFC EHS guidelines.
