Geotechnical Engineer

National Engineering Corporation invites qualified and experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our project team for the following World Bank–funded assignment:

Project: Consulting Services for the Detailed Design and Construction Supervision of the Providence Landfill Upgrade, Capacity Expansion, and Closure
Location: Mahe, Seychelles
Duration: 36 Months (7 months for Detailed Design, 12 months for Construction Supervision, and 12 months for Post-Construction Supervision)
Eligibility: These positions are open to Seychelles Nationals only

Responsibilities:
•    Conduct and supervise geotechnical investigations and analyses.
•    Provide design inputs for landfill berms, liners, and slope stability measures.
•    Review soil, foundation, and material testing reports.
•    Support the design team with technical recommendations on geotechnical risks.
Qualifications & Experience:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
•    At least 15 years of professional experience in geotechnical engineering.
•    Demonstrated experience in landfill or large-scale infrastructure geotechnical works.
