About the Project
This project contributes to stabilization and violence prevention in Iraq by engaging journalists, artists, and government representatives from reconciliation-focused entities to co-create media and art productions that foster social cohesion and promote constructive narratives.
The project includes capacity-building workshops for journalists and artists, a specialized digital media mentorship program for institutional representatives to develop strategic communication campaigns on reconciliation themes, and public exhibitions of community murals and stories. The initiative aims to strengthen peace-oriented storytelling, equip both media professionals and government actors with tools to effectively communicate unity and reconciliation messages, and drive positive narratives within communities.
