About Olive Branch Organization
Olive Branch Organization is a non-profit, independent civil society organization that implements humanitarian aid and development-focused projects for refugees and local populations. Its mission is to contribute to the empowerment of communities, particularly through active work in women's rights and child protection.
Background
As part of this project, Psychosocial Support (PSS) and Hobby-Based MHPSS programs will be implemented for refugees and local populations in Gaziantep (community center). Additionally, legal advisory and counseling services will be provided to support the empowerment of individuals. Throughout the project, participants will engage in activities that contribute to their psychological recovery and also develop their professional skills.
Key Functions / Responsibilities
Ensure that project activities are carried out in harmony with local authorities and coordinate cooperation with local officials.
Coordinate case management processes to identify the needs of individuals, provide appropriate services, and follow up on cases.
Coordinate legal advisory sessions, assess applications, and ensure communication with participants.
Be involved in the planning, organization, and implementation of project-related events.
Track and coordinate Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) and logistics processes, providing necessary support in these areas.
Work closely with the Project Coordinator to ensure the effective implementation of project goals.
Monitor and support the organization of PSS and MHPSS activities, ensuring successful execution and necessary adjustments.
Work in harmony with facilitators and trainers to ensure the successful management of training sessions, workshops, and other activities for the target group**.**
Required Qualifications and Experience
1 Education
Education in psychosocial support, social services, law, or a related field.
2 Experience
Experience working in psychosocial support programs and with refugee communities.
Experience working in multicultural environments.
At least 2 years of field coordination and project management experience.
3 Skills
Proficiency in English and Turkish , Arabic is essential.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate leadership skills.
Familiarity with project management and reporting software.
Duration and Timeframe
The project will continue for 16 months..
All activities will be conducted within the Gaziantep province (community center).
