International Medical Corps South Sudan is implementing a four-year FCDO funded project - South Sudan Humanitarian and Resilience Programme’ (SSHARP)-GBV Prevention and Response to conflict-affected populations in South Sudan. The overall goal of the project is to ensure IDPs, returnees, refugees and host Communities in Unity and Upper Nile States are empowered and resilient to threats of GBV with increased access to quality GBV response and prevention services. The project will be implemented in Upper Nile Malakal and Fashoda and in Unity State Nyal.

The purpose of the consultancy is to design and deliver a 5 day - training of trainers on implementation of CEFE (Competency-based Economies, Formation of Enterprise) Model. This training will equip trainers with the necessary skills, knowledge, and resources to effectively deliver CEFE training for the EA$E groups. Additionally, the consultant will conduct a monitoring visit to project locations review performance of the VSLA operations and provide feedback on what working well and what needs to be improved.

The

  • Plan and deliver a five-day CEFE training covering the six components of CEFE.
  • Provide technical support to the implementation team towards adapting the implementation to suit the project design and the context of the targeted locations.
  • Conduct monitoring and support visits to VSLA groups across all the project locations.
  • Provide IMC and training participants key training materials and resources, including manuals, handouts, and multimedia presentations for reference purposes during implementation.
