About the Opportunity

ARFADA is currently seeking to establish a pool of qualified multi-sectoral consultants and trainers in Sudan to provide consulting and training services on an as-needed basis across various thematic areas.

This consultant and trainer pool aims to strengthen ARFADA’s capacity to respond to diverse client needs with specialized expertise and flexible engagement modalities.

1. WASH expert.
2. Protection, GBV, CP expert.
3. Shelter expert.
4. Education expert.
5. Multi Purposes Cash Assistant ( MPCA) expert.
6. Livelihood expert.
7. Food security including Livestock expert.
8. Health including Sexual Reproductive Health expert.
9. Economic Recovery including Market Infrastructure expert.
10. Early recovery expert.
11. Nutrition expert.
12. Climatic change expert.
13. Policy making Expert
14. Peacebuilding expert.

Different sectoral areas:

• Emergency Response
• NFI (Non-Food Items)
• PSS (Psychosocial Support)
• Agriculture
• Law and Justice
• DDR (disarmament, demobilization, and reintegration)
• Irrigation
• Infrastructure
• Migration
• Human Rights
• Social Cohesion

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, Master’s, or higher degree associated with each sector ( e.g. master in engineering for WASH expert... etc)
At least 5 years of experience in Afghanistan, including the understanding of emergency contexts, and in a humanitarian environment in addition to, experience in writing and production of reports, policy analysis/briefs, and publications.
The knowledge of the IHL, humanitarian principles, humanitarian system, transformative agenda, and issues impacting humanitarian action is requested.
Language: Fluency in English in addition to proficiency in additional languages such as Arabic is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

- In coordination with the team lead, the experts will contribute to the evaluation/ Monitoring / Research design including making inputs related to sectors in the inception report and the development of tools.
- Advise on the analysis plans.
- Contribute to the report writing and development of the inputs (according to sectorial- experience) including recommendations.

- Contribute to implementing the project's activities (designing policies, writing the required reports... etc)
