Statistical Consulting & Remote Calling (SCRC) is a Somali-led organisation providing humanitarian monitoring, accountability, and data-driven decision support. We specialize in Remote Calling, Post-Distribution Monitoring (PDM), Hotline Management, and Community Feedback Systems to help partners deliver transparent and effective social protection and humanitarian programs.
The Project Resource Mobilization Specialist will lead SCRC’s fundraising, partnerships, and donor engagement efforts, including proposal development, reporting, and identifying funding opportunities that support Remote Monitoring solutions, Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP), and digital community engagement
Resource Mobilization & Proposal Development
Lead the design and writing of high-quality project proposals for donors (UN, INGOs, Funds)
Track funding pipelines and develop a fundraising strategy for SCRC
Ensure Concept Notes, Budgets, and Logframes align with donor priorities and community needs
Maintain updated profiles on humanitarian grant portals (e.g., SHF, WPHF)
Donor Relations & Partnerships
Build strong collaborations with humanitarian partners, Government & private sector
Coordinate donor meetings, visibility materials, and representation in clusters/working groups
Support partnership agreements drafting and compliance monitoring
Reporting & Knowledge Management
Lead results-based donor reporting with inputs from M&E and Remote Calling teams
Support documentation of lessons learned, success stories, and impact evidence
Strengthen organisational data-driven storytelling (dashboards, briefers)
Strategic Support
Support development of organisational strategic plans and program frameworks
Identify innovative financing and digital solutions enhancing AAP systems
Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Business Administration, Social Sciences or related field (Master’s an advantage)
Minimum 10 years experience in proposal writing, donor relations, partnership development, Humanitarian or Social Protection programs
Proven experience working with UN agencies, pooled funds, and INGOs
Strong writing skills in English and proficiency in Somali
Knowledge of M&E, feedback mechanisms, PDM or call center systems is a plus
Ability to work under pressure, deliver to deadlines, and collaborate across teams
Excellent MS Office skills; familiarity with Power BI/Tableau is an asset
