Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for a senior expert will act as technical lead and single focal point for the assignment “Brazil PMI – Stakeholder Engagement and Communications Strategy.”
He/she will coordinate daily with the Government of Brazil and the World Bank Task Team and will be responsible for the design and delivery of all outputs, ensuring quality, coherence and alignment with the SBCE Law and international best practices.

Requirement |
Description |

Education |
Master’s degree in Communication, International Relations, Political Science, Environmental Policy, or related field. |
|
General Experience |
Minimum 10 years of professional experience in communication, stakeholder engagement, and governance. |
|
Specific Experience |
At least 5 years in designing and implementing stakeholder engagement plans and communication strategies for climate policies, carbon markets, or environmental governance initiatives. |
|
Technical Expertise |
Proven understanding of carbon pricing instruments (ETS, MRV, Article 6 mechanisms), institutional communication, and public consultation processes. |
|
Leadership & Coordination |
Demonstrated capacity to coordinate multi-stakeholder processes involving government, private sector, civil society, and international partners. |
|
Language Skills |
Fluent in Portuguese and English (both mandatory) |
|
Soft Skills |
Excellent writing, facilitation, and intercultural communication abilities; strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to translate technical content into clear, accessible language. |
