Team Leader/Policy Analyst
• Hold at least a master’s degree in Public Policy, Communication, Environmental Management, Agricultural Economics, or a related field is
required.
• Minimum of 10 years of working experience in policy analysis and advocacy, with a proven track record in developing and implementing policies and advocacies related to agriculture, fisheries, and biodiversity.
• Proven experience in gender analysis, gender mainstreaming, and social inclusion.
• Strong conceptual and research/analytical skills to analyze data and information from different sources and produce coherent reports.
• Strong background in policy analysis and research.
• Considerable knowledge of the theories, practices, and principles of policy development and advocacy, particularly in the context of sustainable development and environmental management.
• Awareness of current trends, challenges, and opportunities within the agriculture, fisheries, and biodiversity sectors is desirable.
• Evidence of effective team-building capabilities, with experience working collaboratively with local government officials, NGOs, and other stakeholders in the sectors.
