Currently, we are looking for an International Chief Track Expert to be part of our [General Consultant for Delhi-Gurugram-SNB Namo Bharat Corridor] proposal in India. 

▶Relevant Experience and Requirements◀

• Graduate in Engineering

• At least 20 years of experience in any Rail based Passenger Transit System

• At least 10 years experience for Design or Installation of Ballast-less Track system including Track Alignment for MRTS / Regional Rail / High Speed Rail as Chief Track Expert or equivalent

• Experience in Rail based Passenger Transit System with operational speed of 160 kmph or more

• Relevant experience in a Developed Country 

• Experience as a General Consultant (GC) / Project Management Consultant (PMC) for implementation of a Rail-based Passenger System with an operational speed of 80 kmph or more for ballastless track

▶ Roles and Responsibilities ◀

1. Lead the track work team to perform review and supplement DPR/DBR, design standards in respect of track work, alignment, track design, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning of track work duly considering the track standards. Also ensure proper interface of Civil structures with track works.
2. Evaluate track structures to be adopted for the project.
3. Review, finalization and approval of track alignment.
4. Review/ preparation of outline design, preliminary design, tender design, prequalification criteria and bid documents for the tender packages for trackwork contracts, attend pre bid meetings and assist in tendering and evaluation process
5. Review and approval of outline design of depot sheds, stabling sheds from the point of track requirements.
6. Review, Value addition and approval of the design of ballastless track of all types, noise and vibration mitigation measures, arrangement required for fixingof S & T equipment, technical proposals including track curvatures, turnouts, gradient, crossovers,fittings, buffer stops and destressing plans etc.
7. Project Management of Trackwork installation, testing, safety, handle day-to-day technical matters, contract management, attend meetings, submit reports, supervise and assist NCRTC in obtaining approvals and certifications.
8. Review of track installations procedures and methodstatements of ballastless and ballasted tracks.
9. Review and compile of installation & maintenance manual of various track components and structures.
10. Maintenance of ballastless/ballasted track.
11. Any other roles and responsibilities required to be performed to complete the project and assigned by the PD/Employer.
