Regional Compliance Officer

Tearfund's Eurasia and North Africa (ENA) team is looking for a dedicated Regional Compliance Officer to ensure our country programmes uphold the highest standards of compliance across the region. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to transformative work and be part of a team that cares about making a positive impact.
The Regional Compliance Officer will play a key role in ensuring the ENA Regional Team and Country Offices comply with Tearfund's global policies, procedures, and systems. The role includes:

• Support for country teams in the region with regard to global processes, policies and procedures, and grant management and budgeting systems.
• Making sure that all electronic filing of partner information is correct and up to date.
• Making sure that partner records are completed correctly on the grant management system.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Educated to Degree Level (or equivalent level of knowledge)
• Strong business administration and compliance skills.

Proven Experience in:

• Working with compliance processes and systems.
• Providing training and guidance on internal controls and compliance.
• Offering advisory support and overseeing the work of others.
• Managing digital systems and records.
• Collaborating with partners in the Middle East and/or North Africa.

Skills/Abilities required:

• Fluent inEnglish and Arabic-both written and verbal.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear guidance and training.
• Diplomatic influencing skills.
• Excellent IT proficiency across a range of systems and software.
• Well-organised, systematic, and detail-oriented.
• Able to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Quick to learn complex IT systems and applications.
• Willing and able to travel internationally, if required.
• Pragmatic with a solutions-focused approach to applying processes.

This position will be based in one of the following countries: Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon or Pakistan within ENA. Salary will be dependent on location.
