Currently, we are looking for International Experts to be included in our Proposal for Urban Master Plan Project in Uzbekistan for following position :
1️⃣ Team Leader / Territorial Planning Experts (3 persons)

[Requirements]

  • Master's degree in Territorial Planning, Urban Planning, Regional Economic Development, or comparable
  • At least 15 years of international experience in the field of territorial planning, Master planning and regional economic development
  • Managing large complex project and consultancies of similar nature, advising government and coordinating with high-level (political) stakeholders

[Role & Responsiblities]

  • Preparation of an Inception Report that contains:
    • The approach, methodology, activities and deliverables for all tasks of the project
    • Show a comprehensive understanding of the ToR with an initial analysis and maps of the relevant districts / regions
    • Identification of the Functional Urban Area of the main town(s) of the relevant Districts
    • Proposed approach for Strategic Environmental and Social Impact Assessment
    • Proposed ToC for the District Atlas, District Spatial Plans, Regional Atlas and Regional Spatial Strategy
    • An initial assessment of data availability, data gaps and associated risks
    • Clarification of the existing legal framework
    • Capacity building program
    • Identification of relevant stakeholder groups and stakeholder engagement strategy with timing, method and topics of engagement
    • Team and experts involved
    • A timetable and a planning of deliverables
  • Coordination and preparation of District Spatial Plans, including:
    • District Atlas
    • District Spatial Plan
  • Coordination and preparation of Regional Spatial Strategies, including:
    • Regional Atlas
    • Regional Spatial Strategy
  • Coordination and preparation of Site Master Plans, including:
    • Site Analysis
    • Site Master Plans
  • Implementation of Cross Cutting Topics, including:
    • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Capacity Building
    • Spatial Development Policy and Institutional Review
  • Presentation of draft and final planning documents to national, regional and district stakeholders
  • Support political decision making during the presentation and approval process
