Ethiopian Horticulture Producer Exporters Association (EHPEA) is a business membership organization which is established in 2002. It is an organization meant to promote the interest of its members who are engaged in the production and export of cut flowers, fruit, vegetables, herbs, cuttings as well as vegetable seeds. Currently, EHPEA has 120 members and it has been relentlessly contributing for the horticulture industry boom in Ethiopia and effectively representing the interests of its members locally and globally.
EHPEA is a key project partner for SRVC II as it is a business membered organization and represents private business actors in the horticulture sector. An assignment of expertise with international business experience will be very important because it pursues similar goals to the project and can therefore contribute significantly to achieving the project's impact. The expert’s role is fully consistent with EHPEA’s mandate and priorities, particularly in advancing the shared goals and business interests of its members. This cooperation will ensure strong alignment, measurable outcomes, and effective collaboration between EHPEA, the technical expert, and the SRVC II project.
