Position: Senior Highway/Bridge Engineer Specialist

We are seeking a senior highway/bridge engineer to develop and deliver the technical training modules, focusing on practical road and bridge engineering across the full asset lifecycle. The role combines preparation of training materials and hands-on delivery (for engineers, students, and maintenance staff as relevant) covering design fundamentals, construction technologies and QA/QC, and maintenance/inspection practices, with structured reporting and coordination within the wider training program.

Objective:

The project focuses on delivering a structured training and knowledge-transfer program in Tajikistan, ensuring that the planning, procurement, and maintenance of complex road and bridge infrastructure align with international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver training modules on engineering, design, construction, and maintenance of roads and bridges
• Support practical workshops and site visits
• Contribute to curriculum development.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil/Structural Engineering
• Minimum 15 years of experience in road and bridge design, construction, and maintenance
• Proven training or lecturing experience
• Knowledge of international design codes (AASHTO, Eurocodes).

Assignment Details

Location: Remote with international missions to Dushanbe.
