Position: Procurement and Contract Management Expert

We are seeking a senior expert to deliver practical training on procurement and contract administration for road and bridge projects, helping participants prepare tender documents, run bid processes, and manage contracts using international good practice (e.g., FIDIC-oriented approaches). The role focuses on developing training materials and running workshops with real-world examples, aligned with the overall capacity-building program and its reporting requirements.

Objective:

The project focuses on delivering a structured training and knowledge-transfer program in Tajikistan, ensuring that the planning, procurement, and maintenance of complex road and bridge infrastructure align with international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver procurement and contract administration training
• Focus on MDB procurement, tendering, bid evaluation, FIDIC, and contract claims
• Provide real-world case studies.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree in Procurement Law or Policy, Business Administration, Public Administration or related field
• At least 10 years of professional experience in procurement under IFI-financed projects
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC Conditions of Contract and international bidding procedures
• Certified in procurement (e.g., CIPS) is a plus.

Location: Remote with international missions to Dushanbe.
