Project Status : Proposal Stage

Required Positions :

(1) Energy Efficiency & Climate Resilience Expert

Qualifications & Requirements :

• Master Degree in Environmental Engineering / Science / Climate Change / Energy Engineering or equivalent degree.

• 12 years total professional experience with 10 years in Transportation or Railway Sector.

• 8 years experience in similar type of feasibility study & design consultancy.

• 5 -7 years experience in Carbon Market Projects or Climate Mitigation Programs & hands-on involvement in validation & verification processes with accredited DOEs with experience as Railway Energy & Climate Resilience Expert or similar post for similar type of consultancy.

• Proficiency in GHG modelling tools & spreadsheet-based emission calculations.

• Proven experience in developing Project Design Documents (PDDs) under recognised carbon crediting standards.

• Strong knowledge of carbon crediting methodologies, baseline setting, & emission reduction calculations. Familiarity with Article 6 mechanisms, voluntary carbon market trends.

• Regional experience in South Asia region would be preferable.
