Who we are?

IDA is an international independent non-governmental organization providing medical and humanitarian assistance to people affected by conflicts, natural disasters and epidemics regardless of race, religion, gender or political affiliation.
IDA was founded in 2012 by Syrian doctors from Aleppo in response to the healthcare and humanitarian crisis in Syria.

IDA Syria is the main healthcare provider in the Northern Aleppo/Syria area, working closely with 500,000 IDPs and 700,000 host communities through 20 healthcare facilities and other health and nutrition projects

During last year, IDA has provided 1.2 million services in Heath, Nutrition, WaSH and Camp Management

Establishment of a Talent Pool (CV Database)

The Independent Doctors Association (IDA) invites qualified and experienced professionals to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for inclusion in its Talent Pool (CV Database). This initiative aims to support IDA’s current and anticipated programmatic and operational needs.

The purpose of this call is to establish a pre-screened roster of potential candidates, enabling timely, transparent, and efficient recruitment processes when relevant vacancies arise.
Submission to the Talent Pool does not constitute an offer of employment and does not guarantee future recruitment.

Areas of Expertise

Areas of expertise may include, but are not limited to:

Health and Medical Services

Program and Project Management (Health, Protection, Nutrition)

Partnerships, Grants, and External Relations

Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL)

Finance and Administration

Human Resources

Logistics and Procurement

Communications and Media

General Eligibility Criteria

Relevant professional experience with humanitarian and non-governmental organizations (preferred)

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in complex and dynamic environments

Strong commitment to humanitarian principles, organizational values, and professional ethics

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Professional-level proficiency in English, both written and spoken
