Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Project Site

Role: Manage all quantity surveying, cost estimation, and contractual cost control functions for a major dam/civil works project, ensuring financial and contractual compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, unit rates, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Contribute to the preparation of civil works procurement documentation.
• Administer cost control, valuations, and payment processes under FIDIC contracts.
• Schedule and plan works using project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Manage quantity/cost records and provide analytical support for contract management.

Requirements:

• Professional qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
• 15+ years overall experience, with 10+ years on similar dam/irrigation projects.
• 5+ years of experience working in similar project environments (e.g., remote/developing regions).
• Experience on World Bank or similar internationally-financed projects using FIDIC procurement documents.
• Expertise in cost estimation, BOQs, tendering, and FIDIC contract management.
• Proficiency in project scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera, or other CPM/PERT tools).
• Strong analytical, communication, and commercial skills.
