GOPA Tech is building its expert pool for an upcoming assignment under the TAQA Transmission Consultancy Framework in Abu Dhabi. We are seeking highly qualified specialists with relevant technical and regional experience to join our roster for forthcoming opportunities.

What you will do
  • At least 10 years of experience in water quality modelling and simulation, ideally including potable water networks with mixed-source supply and varying disinfectants/disinfection by-products (DBPs).
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with InfoWater MSX, including model setup, calibration, scenario simulations, and interpretation of water quality outputs.
  • Demonstrated experience in hydraulic modelling of distribution networks, including demand analysis, pressure zones, and operational optimisation.
  • Experience conducting model calibration and validation using field datasets (e.g., SCADA, water sampling results).
  • Familiarity with UAE water quality standards, WHO drinking water guidelines, or comparable international frameworks (advantage, not mandatory).
  • Prior engagement in technical assistance, consultancy assignments, or utility-level advisory work in the Middle East region is an added advantage.
Your qualifications
  • M.Sc. in Chemistry, Environmental Engineering, Biochemistry, Hydraulics, Water Resources Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Additional certifications or professional training in water quality modelling, hydraulic modelling, or drinking water safety planning are an advantage.
