The consultancy aims to integrate gender equality and social inclusion across education, TVET, and skills development programs in Angola, improving access, participation, and outcomes for women, youth, and vulnerable groups.
Gender and Social Inclusion Expert
Master’s degree in Gender Studies, Social Development, Sociology, or Public Policy.
Minimum 10 years overall professional experience, of which at least 7 years integrating gender equality and social inclusion into development programs, particularly in education, TVET, and youth employment.
Proven ability to conduct gender analysis, assess barriers to women’s and girls’ participation, and propose actionable recommendations.
Demonstrated experience with gender-sensitive curriculum development, training design, and institutional capacity-building.
Familiarity with intersectional issues (youth, disability, rural/urban divide) affecting access to education, skills, and employment.
Knowledge of Angolan or Sub-Saharan African contexts and national gender policies is highly desirable.
Strong facilitation and communication skills, including stakeholder engagement at community and institutional levels.
Fluency in English is required; working knowledge of Portuguese will be considered an asset.
