Hydrogeologist

We are shortlisted by The World Bank for Request for Proposals for “Consultancy Services for Monitoring, Supervision & Reporting for Water Supply & Sanitation Project” in Bangladesh. We are doing many funded projects by Multilateral Development Banks funded such as World Bank, Asian Development Bank, African Development Bank, Afri-Exim Bank in more than 10+ countries in Africa, India, Maldives, Bangladesh and Middle East.

General Qualification (Hydrogeologist)

·       Masters in Geology or Earth Science or in related sector

Adequacy for the assignment

1.       Must have minimum of 10+ years experience in development project in public and private sectors.

2.     At least 5 years of professional experience of working in related field of Water Supply and Sanitation Development projects / rural development programme/ community – based projects of  Govt. or Non-government organization.

3.       Experience must include at least one World Bank/ADB or other development partner funded project.

Scope of Work for Hydrogeologist

1.       Verify and revise the design of PTW as per recent data of TTWs

2.    Full time supervision of PTW installation including material checking, drilling of bore hole, soil sampling, washing of bore hole, lowering PTW, gravel packing, development, step draw down test, long term pumping test and all other related works

3.     Designing PTW (200 mm dia) & community deep tubewell of size 100 mm x 50 mm dia tube well on the basis of bore log and soil sample including guiding for successful implementation of tubewell

4.       Prepare bore log and revised the estimate accordingly, Prepare and submit as built drawing of production tubewell (PTW).

5.       Ensure close cooperation and assistance to the PMU. Hydrogeologist for effective and efficient implementation of the hydrogeological activities

6.       Hydrogeologist will be coordinate all junior hydrogeologist

7.       Database development of Hydrogeology and submit yearly evaluation report
