SUMMARY OF THE PROJECT
The Strengthening Equitable Healthcare Access in Target regions (SEHAT) project in Indonesia is a seven-year initiative funded by Global Affairs Canada. SEHAT aims to improve health outcomes and rights, particularly in sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), for marginalized and vulnerable women and girls in Central Sulawesi and Papua. The project strengthens health system capacity while promoting gender equality and community empowerment.
SUMMARY OF THE POSITION
The Provincial Project Officer provides technical and administrative support to ensure quality implementation of SEHAT interventions in line with national and provincial policies. The position focuses on support to technical field-level programming, monitoring and learning, capacity building of partners and frontline health staff and leading finance and administration tasks related to the provincial office. This role complements the Provincial Manager by providing day-to-day implementation support to the program.
