The Global Fund funds local progams to combat HIV, Malaria and Tuberculosis. The Local Fund Agent team checks implementation of the grant(s) on finances, plans and progress, procurement and supply.

Local Fund Agent - The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria

For a tender of the Global Fund for Local Fund Agent (LFA) services in Benin, Cabo Verde en Cote d’Ivoire, SGS is looking for experts from the West and Central African region who are fluent in French and English:

Team Leaders, Finance Professionals (junior and senior, must be based in Cote d’Ivoire, Cabo Verde or Benin),  Monitoring & Evaluation Experts, and Procurement and Supply Management Experts (health products). Experience with the Global Fund is preferred.

The positions are part-time, the work is done remotely and in-country. If awarded, the work will start in July 2026, and can be extended each year.

The PSM Expert for health products must have a Master's degree in Public Health, Pharmacy, Medicine or related discipline, and preferably Professional training in procurement and supply management (PSM) of health products, logistics and/or public health. Plus:

A minimum of 7 years relevant experience in managing or advising on the procurement, supply and use of health products, particularly in developing countries with:

(i)    experience/expertise in assessing policies, systems and structures in the public and/or private health sector relevant for managing effective and efficient access to pharmaceuticals and other health products, particularly for AIDS, TB and malaria;

(ii)   experience/expertise in the procurement of health products including regulations and tendering process;

(i)    experience/expertise in supply chain/logistics management systems;

(ii)   experience in quantification and forecasting of health product needs in public health programs;

(iii)  a good understanding of AIDS, TB, malaria market dynamics and existing global supply challenges as well as international health products procurement and supply management practices, applicable national and international laws and recognised standards; and

(vi) good writing and analytical skills.
