Hands-On Clinical & Observatory Placements

MEVEA is a premier clinical placement program designed for medical students and volunteer doctors seeking an immersive global health experience in Tanzania. This program offers well-structured observatory or clinical roles within any level of our partner hospitals, from urban Level 5 facilities to semi-urban and rural community health centers. It is specifically designed to promote a platform where overseas participants can experience diverse health systems in a unique setup.

Who It’s For: The program is open to medical students across all university years, aspiring medical students, and volunteer doctors eager for a medical adventure abroad.

Duration & Flexibility: MEVEA is available throughout the year to accommodate various academic schedules, typically lasting between 4 to 8 weeks.

Clinical Scope: Participants engage in patient assessment care, including taking histories and performing physical examinations under supervision. You will assist in diagnosis, treatment planning, and monitoring patient progress during daily ward rounds with senior doctors.
