We are recruiting an Economic Research Expert / Market Research Consultant to support the economic component of an EUIPO study on parasitic copying and look-alike products.

The expert will support research on market effects, consumer behaviour, sector exposure, distribution channels, promotion practices, and revenue/market-share impacts related to look-alikes and duplicates across the EU.

Minimum requirements

• Proven economic background
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Experience in economic data analysis, market research, surveys and/or interviews
• Ability to work with desk research and structured analytical outputs
• Very good written English

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in consumer research, retail analysis, e-commerce, pricing behaviour or brand-related market studies
• Experience handling survey data and mixed-methods analysis
• Exposure to studies for EU institutions, regulators or international organizations

Main tasks

• Support collection and analysis of economic and statistical data
• Support interviews and surveys with companies, consumers and experts
• Prepare analytical summaries, tables and evidence inputs
• Contribute to interim and final reporting under guidance of the economic co-lead
