Description

About the Role
We are seeking part-time Research Consultant with deep expertise in European affairs. You will produce concise, insightful analytical reports to support business and strategic decision-making, focusing on political & economic or climate change or bio-medicine within Europe.

Key Responsibilities

1.Focus on any one of the three domains:

Write in-depth analytical reports on European political, economic, and international relations issues (e.g., EU policy trends, member state politics, regulatory developments).

Track and interpret climate change policies across Europe, including national and EU-level targets, carbon pricing mechanisms, and the geopolitics of green technology.

Monitor bio-medicine developments such as pharmaceutical strategy, clinical trial regulations, market access for advanced therapies, and policy responses to cross-border health threats.

2. Provide value-added insights that go beyond public information by drawing on local policy environments, political-business networks, and decision-making processes – not simply repackaging publicly available data.

Key Requirements

  1. 3+ years of relevant professional experience in political science, international relations, public policy, think tanks, journalism, climate change/bio-medicine or related fields, within European countries (e.g., Germany, France, the UK, Italy, Spain, Poland, etc.).
  2. Familiarity with local government operations, decision-making processes, or political-business networks.
  3. Sustained interest and deep understanding of European politics and economics, climate change, and bio-medicine.
  4. Working languages: Must be able to deliver written reports in English.

Why Join Us

  1. Competitive part-time project-based fee that truly matches your expertise and impact.
  2. Flexible working arrangements tailored for experienced professionals seeking part-time engagement.
  3. Opportunity to provide meaningful policy insight in a dynamic regional context.
