Responsible for technical supervision, progress tracking, and site-level contract enforcement.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Conduct day-to-day site supervision and quality control.
- Review Contractor’s method statements and ensure compliance with obligations.
- Maintain daily and weekly progress logs, identify and rectify deviations from the baseline.
- Manage site-level resolution of technical and interface issues.
- Prepare documentation for variations.
- Monitor early warnings and flag potential delays or disputes.
- Draft monthly progress reports and support the Engineer in submission.
- Conduct daily and formal progress meetings with the Contractor.
- Ensure compliance with Drawings and Specifications.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Civil Engineering (postgraduate preferred).
- 15 years of sanitary/environmental relevant experience.
- At least 3 supervision assignments of similar (landfill) nature or Solid Waste Management – design, construction supervision of landfills.
- Proven FIDIC experience (minimum 3 contracts).
- Caribbean region nationals are preferred.
