Civil/Geotechnical/Landfill Engineer

Specialized technical oversight of landfill earthworks, stability, and structural design compliance.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Review and verify detailed design documents for compliance with standards, codes, and site conditions.
• Supervise works on site, including geotechnical and civil works implementation.
• Ensure adherence to design specifications and construction drawings.
• Monitor construction methods and sequence to ensure geotechnical stability and safety.
• Propose technical solutions for issues encountered during implementation.
• Coordinate with other disciplines for interface management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering from an accredited university. Master’s degree preferred.
• Ten (10) years’ experience in civil engineering, three (3) years in similar landfill works.
• Must be a member of an Engineering professional body.
• Caribbean region nationals are preferred.
