We are seeking qualified experts to present a proposal for supporting the implementation of outreach, publicity, and communications services for the EU Due Diligence Navigator for Partner Countries.

The EU Navigator is an online helpdesk which supports governments, businesses, and civil society organisations in partner countries of EU development cooperation in understanding and navigating the requirements and opportunities of the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive.

The selected contractor will support the TEI team in developing and implementing a targeted outreach strategy to raise awareness of the Navigator among key stakeholders in Africa, Asia, and Latin America, producing tailored communication materials, organising online and offline events, and establishing monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to track impact.

EXPERT PROFILE

Academic Background

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma or equivalent in Event Management, Communication, Marketing, Business Administration or related field.

Languages

  • Proficiency (C1) in English.
  • Upper-intermediate (B2) in French, Spanish or Portuguese.

Professional experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in organising and managing digital and physical events, including all logistical and administrative aspects.
  • 2 years of experience working outside your country of birth organising and managing digital and physical events, in an international or EU-related context.
  • 1 year of experience in the field of development cooperation.

Needed references

  • 4 relevant references detailing experience organizing and managing digital and physical events in an international context or in Africa, Asia or Latin America.
  • 4 relevant references of experience working in Africa, Asia or Latin America.
  • 4 references of projects that demonstrate experience in managing events in participative, sustainable and accessible ways.
