Technical Assistance for The Open Innovation Autonomous Vehicle Development and Testing Platform (OPINA) (EuropeAid/139950/IH/SER/TR)

The overall objective of the operation of which this contract will be a part is to create a science, technology and innovation ecosystem for the universities, industry and SMEs to foster innovative and high technology and high value added new technologies and products which supports the economic and social development of the region and European Union increasing the overall knowledge level and competitiveness.

The purpose of this contract is to create an industry-university-SME innovation and collaboration ecosystem by increasing the functionality of the Innovative Autonomous and Communicating Vehicle Technology Development and Clustering Center.

Qualifications and skills for the expert

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or a similar field;
• Excellent command over English (reading, writing, speaking);
• Good command over Turkish (reading, writing, speaking) will be an asset and not mandatory.

General professional experience for the expert

• Minimum 5 years of general professional experience.

Specific professional experience for the expert

• Solid knowledge of software design;
• C, C++, Python programming skills are must.
• Working level knowledge on MATLAB/SIMULINK
• Embedded software development such as autosar architecture and service protocols
• Linux, Qnx and any real time operating system expertise is desired.
• Hands-on expertise in many disparate technologies, robotics, middleware development, application development, ADAS and typically ranging from frontend user interfaces through to back-end systems will be an asset.
