Water and Sanitation Engineer

The National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) has received a financing from Agence Française de Développement ("AFD"), and intends to use part of the funds thereof for payments under the following Technical Assistance: Package 6 E - Capacity Building and Project Management Support, as part of the structuring Kampala Water - Lake Victoria (KW-LV) WATSAN Project.

We looking for a dedicated and competent team leader who can get involved in this opportunity in Uganda for conducting the following tasks:

Capacity Building - in the general and cross-cutting areas of (i) Investment planning and management, and (ii) O&M management, which encompasses interrelated activities such as Water Quality management, SCADA & hydraulic zones monitoring, Customer management, Asset management, including integrated asset information management systems, Non-Revenue Water (NRW) management, Human Resources management, and Information Technology.

Qualifications required:
A minimum of Master's Degree in Water/Environmental/Process Engineering or a relevant equivalent

Professional experience required:
at least 10 years’ experience in the field of civil/environmental/water engineering (with bias in water and sanitation) and not less than 5 years’ experience in a similar position. Should have worked in at least two previous assignments in a similar position.
