IQVIA India works closely with the Government and Development partners providing technical and managerial support to some of the largest public health mandates of the country.

We are looking to hire a Deputy Team Leader for a National Technical Support Unit to support implementation of National Tuberculosis Elimination Program with Central TB Division based out of Delhi.

Job Description:

  • Leading day-to-day management of the team
  • Project management of the project as per agreed activities, timelines and deliverables
  • Defining the detailed work plan, and managing the team of consultants / domain experts against the work plan
  • Drive discussions with senior officials in the Govt at Centre and State level
  • Working with the client project team and stakeholders
  • Driving meetings and problem-solving discussions
  • Sending periodic updates, and highlighting challenges in project execution
  • Guiding the team to arrive at specific solutions for each of impact areas
  • He /She along with the team leader will co-ordinate with the multidisciplinary team for the day operations pertaining to NTSU
  • Supportive supervision, monitoring and evaluation and coordination with all 9 TSUs and states officials
  • Coordinate with all 9 TSUs in engaging private health care providers for improved coverage/reach of TB patients with timely diagnosis and treatment services
  • Analyses district/state wise performance and provide inputs to the STSUs
  • Analyses and review the performance of the state/district against the set targets periodically and communicate the same to CTD
  • Support the all TSUs and State to facilitate engagement for public-private partnership in the State
  • Liaison with allied department and coordinate with NTEP officials to ensure effective partnership with the public sector for the delivery of project activities
  • Identify training and capacity needs for the districts and States of 9 TSUs and organize the same in coordination with CTD
  • Provide technical inputs to the TSUs and PPSA
  • Support and monitor TSUs and periodic review of partnerships with different stakeholders
  • Submit progress reports of all 9 states /TSUs on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis to the CTD

Qualification & Experience

  • MBBS Graduate with Post-Graduate in Public Health /Health Administration / Community Health Administration or Preventive & Social Medicineand/or Hospital Management/ Healthcare Management (2 Yrs Full Time- UGC /AICTE approved)
  • Minimum 8 years plus experiences out of which 3 Yrs relevant experience in Infectious disease

Desirable: Experience in TB programs
